International Business Development

The Position
Together with its parent company Constellation Software Inc., Volaris acquires, strengthens, and grows vertical market software businesses and has done so for more than 25 years.
We have an ambition to increase Volaris’ growth rate, why we need to ensure good coverage with hundreds of owner-led software businesses not to miss the right time to acquire them.

Our Business Developer will focus on and pursue acquisitions of vertical market software companies for Volaris Group in Scandinavia with a possibility to grow geographically. Your overall objective is to manage a sales funnel of potential M&A targets by identifying and qualifying new targets as well as nurturing and develop existing ones towards a M&A process. You will become part of a European M&A team with colleagues in Europe.


  • Identify potential acquisition prospects and deliver qualified prospects to the M&A Team

  • Grow our prospect database by identifying mid-market software businesses meeting our acquisition criteria

  • Initiate outbound prospecting calls, email and social media communication to identify and connect with target companies

  • Use Marketing and CRM data to build relationships with CEOs/Presidents/Chairmen’s

  • Conduct sales development best practices to connect with and qualify prospects

  • Maintain and develop existing prospect relations over time.

  • Track activities and maintain relevant information in Salesforce



  • A university degree, or equivalent, preferably in business and administration (BWL) or engineering.

  • Basic financial competence, ability to quickly digest and understand annual report and financial data.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in quota-carrying business development or enterprise sales roles

  • Able to effectively communicate and build rapport with target companies.

  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with C-level and key stakeholders

  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus

  • Experience of Salesforce is positive


The Person
You are self-motivated and like to take on difficult challenges and have the will to succeed. You enjoy a sales challenge and have a never give up attitude. The Scandinavian team is a small team at the moment, but you will be part of a big portfolio, where travel to various countries to meet colleagues, is a big part of the job. You need to be flexible, independent and have a strong self-drive to drive projects forward as you often work with yourself or in a small setting.

  • Persistency: The Corporate Business Developer loves taking on difficult challenges and has the will to succeed against all the odds. He or she has a never give up attitude. There is nothing that can hurt his or her positive attitude towards achieving things. The candidate can deal with rejection and understands that they key to success is consistency and long-term relationship building.

  • Analytical mindset: A Corporate Business Developer can think on his or her feet and likes learning new things. Curiosity is a key aspect of her or his personality. He or she can identify patterns and is good with numbers.

  • Good communicator: The Corporate Business Developer has no reluctance to use cold calling as a method for achieving its goal. He or she has excellent written and verbal communication skills and is used to build strong relationships with prospects over the mid and long term. The candidate is experienced with discussion with C-Level executives of midsized software companies.

Volaris Nordics is a part of the Volaris Group, which consists of software companies in various industries spread throughout the world. Volaris is owned by Constellation Inc., which is listed on the Canadian Stock Exchange. You will become part of an international company with activities around the world, and associated possibilities for future jobs abroad.

Volaris Nordics is a young business unit and will build a portfolio of companies within the Nordic countries. Now consists of two different companies, Intranote A/S and ConWX A/S. You will be employed in Intranote A/S but will in your corporate function be working with all entities.

The Corporate Business Developer will be located in Denmark, Sweden, Norway or Finland.
